Critical Infrastructure Learning Series
A series of one-hour Web-based seminars which provide presentations by senior critical infrastructure protection experts on the tools, trends, issues, and best practices for infrastructure protection and resilience.

Dams Sector Training Site (HSIN-CS Dams Portal)
Web-based training courses and webinars developed by subject matter experts from public and private entities that focus on security awareness, protective measures, and crisis management. You must be a registered user of the HSIN network in order to attend this training.

IS-700.A: National Incident Management System, An Introduction
Introduces and provides an overview of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). NIMS provides a consistent nationwide template to enable government, private sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents.

IS-800.B: National Response Framework, An Introduction
Introduces the concepts and principles of the National Response Framework (NRF). Course objectives include describing the purpose of the NRF; reviewing the response doctrine established by the framework; listing actions that support national response; and describing the response organizations utilized for multiagency coordination.

IS-821: Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources Support Annex
Provides information regarding Federal departments and agencies, private sector, volunteer organizations, and nongovernmental organizations' coordination and execution of the common support processes and administrative tasks required during an incident.

IS-860.A: National Infrastructure Protection Plan
Provides an overview of the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP), which establishes the unifying structure for the integration of existing and future critical infrastructure protection and resiliency efforts into a single national program.

IS-870: Dams Sector: Crisis Management Overview
Web-based training focused on information provided within the Dams Sector Crisis Management Handbook.

IS-871: Dams Sector: Security Awareness (FOUO)
Web-based training assists owners/operators in selecting protective measures addressing the physical, cyber, and human elements; includes recommendations for developing site security plans. Note: This course is For Official Use Only and requires HSIN access.

IS-872: Dams Sector: Protective Measures (FOUO)
Assists owners/operators in identifying security concerns, coordinating proper response, and establishing effective partnerships with local law enforcement and first responder communities. Note: This course is For Official Use Only and requires HSIN access.

National Dams Safety Program (NDSP) Expert Video Series
Six videos present the following experts and topics: Dr. Ralph B. Peck: Seepage and Piping; Dr. Don U. Deere: Dam Foundations; Dr. John Lowe, III: Filters and Sinkholes and Rapid Drawdown Stability; Dr. James K. Mitchell: Ground Improvement for Dam Safety; Dr. I.M. Surveillance Detection Webinar
Surveillance Detection Awareness on the Job is part of DHS' "See Something, Say Something" campaign to raise public awareness of potential indicators of terrorism, crime, and other threats, and to emphasize the importance of reporting suspicious activity to law enforcement authorities.
